The Book

I started the reading for my photography class today and now I'm supposed to blog about it. I love looking at all of the pictures in the book. It makes me feel like a little kid reading a picture book, but instead now I can really appreciate all the work it took to get those pictures that I love so much. It also makes me excited to think about someday maybe I can get an amazing picture like the ones I see.
I didn't really expect the reading to be what it is. I understood what it said and it was an easy read, but at the same time I had no clue what it was talking about camera wise. All the crazy names and sizes of cameras I had not a clue about. In that aspect it was confusing but I read through it anyways. I also liked the way the author put himself in the book. He tells of his experiences to relate the text to the reader and I always enjoy that about a text book.
I'm sure the book will get more in detail about how to take pictures and that will be more interesting to read about later on. So far the book is a simple, nice read and is as interesting as a text book can be.

First one!

Alright so this is my first blog ever, I've never even looked at blogs before this photography class I'm taking in college. Now I'm required to blog before every Thursday about different photos I like or photographers I find. Well my first blog is about my friend who has her own photography business called J. Willis Photography. This is her website with tons of pictures from landscape to weddings, babies and families, animals and some art stuff she does on her own. http://jessicagoulding.zenfolio.com/ She is amazing and I want her to do my wedding pictures someday because she gets everything in the wedding; food, the bride getting ready, family the scenic and of course posed pictures which I think is so fun to do at weddings with the bride and groom.
